Our Story

What started as childhood barn days with best friends has come full circle, and now we are building a community together around the animals we have loved our whole lives. Opening this boarding facility is the result of combining our lifelong passion for horses with years of professional and practical experience. Our goal is to create a safe, well-managed environment where horses receive exceptional care that emphasizes access to forage, movement, and socialization, and owners can feel confident that their animals are treated as if they were our own.

The Expertise Behind the Care

Like many horse girls, my story started early. Horses were always where I felt most at home, and over the years I spent as much time as I could riding, learning, and helping care for the horses around me. During undergrad, I was captain of my university’s western equestrian team, and competed at the semi-national level. While horses have always been a constant in my life, my professional career took me into clinical research and management of large scale production and scientific laboratory facilities where attention to detail and consistency were essential.

Alongside my professional work, I’ve spent most of my life caring for animals of all sizes. That experience shaped the way I approach animal care today, with patience, attentiveness, and a deep love for seniors and special needs animals.

Having been involved with horses for over twenty years, my life has long been centered around the equestrian community. Over the years I have deepened that connection as a rider and as a stable hand and caretaker at various horse boarding and training facilities. I also have an extensive career in the legal field. I first spent ten years working as a paralegal, then went on to law school, and I am now an attorney.

My hands-on experience in the equestrian community has provided me with a strong understanding of the day-to-day care, management, and attention to detail required to keep both horses and their owners happy. And my legal background taught me the importance of professionalism, organization, and clear communication. All important skills that I now bring to the management of the stable.

It all started when my mom would bring us kids down the street to feed carrots to the neighbor’s horses. From there, my horse girl dreams took off, and I spent as much time at the barn as I could. Eventually I got my first horse, and we spent many Friday nights hauling to local rodeos. I later rode for my University team, sometimes even competing directly against Jazmin.

After a decade working in law, I realized I couldn’t stay behind a desk. While I was still in the barn in my free time, it simply wasn’t enough. I needed to be active, outdoors, and working with animals. That path led me into full time animal care with a particular interest in animal sheltering and welfare. This shaped my approach to every animal I work with today and deepened my commitment to prioritizing each animal’s comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

I never did grow out of the horse girl phase and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
